Spruce Lane Cottage - Lakeside

This is a modern and spacious summer cottage and very comfortable for a large family. It is very well appointed, we have done our best to equip and furnish it with all the conveniences you'll need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The interior has an attractive open plan design, which has been tastefully decorated. There is a large kitchen with breakfast bar/island overlooking a comfortable living/dining room area. We also have a large, covered porch overlooking our secluded, well treed lot. There is a full length front porch for relaxing in the afternoon sun.

There are 4 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms - with comfortable accommodations for up to eight people. The Master bedroom has a queen bed and 2 piece en-suite powder room. There is a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and 2 more bedrooms with two twin size beds in each.

Everyone's favourite feature is the large (21'x 10') screened porch for quiet relaxation, or outdoor entertaining. We have a large gas BBQ for outdoor grilling. Spectacular Lakeside Beach is within 750 metres - and one of Canada’s premiere golf courses, The Links at Crowbush Cove is only 1 kilometre away by car. Lots of other great activities and attractions are situated conveniently close by too. There is horseback riding just down the road, the Confederation Trail for walking and biking and there is also Kayaking in nearby Morell. Charlottetown is 30 minutes away for sightseeing, dining, shopping and access to the Charlottetown Airport. In our opinion, Lakeside has the nicest and most secluded beach on the island where you can experience the picturesque sunsets from the sandy dunes and walk for well over a kilometre in either direction along the beautiful, sandy Gulf of St. Lawrence shoreline.

Golf: The Links at Crowbush Cove golf course is simply world class and along with Lakeside Beach, it is a focal point of the area. There are so many other popular Island courses located within an easy drive of Lakeside that we can't list them all here, but if you call or email us we have all the information you'll need to plan a great golf vacation (including ideas for green fee discounts).

We are kid and pet friendly - and this is strictly a non-smoking cottage. Take advantage of our low shoulder season rates - (Green fee discounts are available for most courses at those times as well)

June and September are beautiful months in PEI. The crowds are gone and tee times at Crowbush Cove are much easier to come by - We offer lower weekly rates & short term stays in those two months.
